As anxiety continues to escalate regarding Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) I want to assure our families that the health and well-being of our students, their families and our staff will continue to be our top priority. We are constantly disinfecting our classrooms, increasing hand washing among the students and staff and encouraging the avoidance of touching eyes, nose or mouth. Children are reminded to cover coughs and sneezes and asked to wash hands following any occurrence. We will continue to ask that you keep your child home if they are showing any signs of illness. Any child with a fever over 100.0 will be asked to stay at home until they are fever free for at least 24 hours without the aid of medication. We will continue to monitor this situation and will follow Marana School District’s governing board recommendations should we need to implement any additional actions. I encourage you to visit the Pima County Health Department Website/CoV for the latest information regarding this outbreak.
