  • Is Beautiful Savior Academy licensed?
    • We are licensed through the Department of Health Services and have been in operation for over 30 years.
  • What ages are in each class?
    • Preschool - age 3 (and toilet-trained)
    • Pre-Kindergarten - age 4
    • Kinder Bridge - age 4 or 5
    • Kindergarten - age 5 (those children age 4 with August or September birthdays can be tested to determine readiness for our kindergaren class.
  • What are the days and hours of each class?
    • Preschool has 2, 3 , or 5 days a week classes. Regular hours are 9:00am-12:00pm.
    • Pre-Kindergarten has 2, 3, or 5 days a week classes. Regular hours are 9:00am-12:00pm.
    • Kinder Bridge is a 5 days per week class. Regular hours are 9:00am-12:00pm.
    • Kindergarten is a 5 days per week class. Regular hours are 8:30am-2:30pm.
  • Is there early drop off and late pick up options?
    • Yes, morning care is available with drop off at 8:00am daily
    • Yes, we have extended care with pick up options of either 2:30pm or 5:30pm daily.
  • What is Kinder Bridge?
    • This class is designed for those students who miss the cutoff for kindergarten and have already completed a pre-kindergarten program. Students are also considered if they are younger but are prepared to start a beginning reading program.

  • When do I need to enroll?
    • Registration is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. As soon as you submit the registration form along with the registration fee your child’s spot will be secured. There are no additional fees required during the course of the school year.
  • How many children are in a classroom?
    • It depends on the classroom size. We always operate well under state ratio which is 1:13 for 3 year olds and 1:15 for 4 year olds. Two of our larger classrooms have 2 teachers with a maximum enrollment of 20 children
  • What do you teach?
    • In our preschool and pre-kindergarten classes we work on a letter of the alphabet each week, we learn shapes, colors, numbers, months, days, and we have a theme such as “community helper” each month. They are read to each day, they are exposed to music and movement, they have a hands-on art or science project each day and there is always time for free choice well.
    • Our Kinder-Bridge program also utilizes a beginning reading program and our kindergarten program utilizes the Abeka Book curriculum.
    • We present activities and opportunities which encompass all of the developmental domains.
  • We are not Lutheran, is that okay?
    • We have children here of all denominations. We focus our faith curriculum on simple bible stories, prayer, how God provides for us and takes care of us, how God wants us to treat others, etc. There is no “theology” taught at this age.
